Adventures With Purpose

Exploring with a Mission, sponsored by Adventures with Purpose, has brought Robert St-Louis home. He went missing in 1987 from his home in Laval, Quebec, and over the course of the last 37 years, his daughter Natalie never gave up hope that he would one day be found.

Bill McIntosh, Down Under Dan, and Kade Pigg were able to locate Robert’s vehicle, retrieve remains, and close this case for his family.

Adventures With Purpose

Today, Adventures With Purpose traveled to Cleveland, Texas, to search for Brad Benford, who went missing on May 18, 2024. In a matter of just 20 minutes after launching our boat, our team successfully located Brad’s car 80 yards downriver from the bridge at East Fork Jacinto River, off of County Road 388, submerged in only six feet of water.

Brad, 59 years old at the time of his disappearance, was last seen at a convenience store in New Waverly, Texas, on the night of May 18. He was returning home to Splendora after a long day’s work in Cleburne. Despite extensive search efforts by local law enforcement, including aerial searches and water-based patrols, no trace of Brad or his vehicle was found—until today.

In collaboration with the Liberty County Fire Department, Liberty County Sheriff’s Department, Baytown Dive Team, and J & J Wrecker Service, our team worked diligently to recover Brad’s vehicle. Each agency demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and commitment to bringing closure to Brad’s loved ones.

For Brad’s sister, Angie, this discovery brings a bittersweet sense of peace. “I’ll never have to wonder what happened to my brother,” she shared. While the tragic loss of Brad is deeply felt, she hopes his story serves as a reminder to all: “Drive safe, be careful, and remember—you never think something like this will happen to you until it does.” Her last words to her brother that night were, fittingly, “Drive safe.”

As we continue our mission to bring answers to families across the country, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our community and all who support our efforts. Your contributions allow us to provide this invaluable service to those in need.

**Gratitude for Bill and Dan: Supporting the Mission**

Over the years, Bill and Dan have been unwavering supporters of Adventures With Purpose (AWP), traveling with us across the U.S. to help solve missing-person cold cases. Their dedication and passion for making a difference are truly inspiring.

Now, they’re taking their efforts even further with their newly founded 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, *Exploring With A Mission* (EWAM). Through this organization, they aim to fund searches, assemble teams, clean up the environment, and bring closure to families in need.

With Dan based in Australia, Bill has traveled across the globe to support Dan in searching for others who are missing Down Under. In Loving Memory of Eddie and His Beloved Dog, Sassy** 🌊

On November 9th, our team at Adventures With Purpose (AWP) answered the call of a father’s heartbreaking plea for help in locating his missing son, Eddie Robert Pullin Jr. who had gone missing 3-weeks earlier.

Eddie was last seen on October 19th, and despite his family’s and friends' efforts, he hadn’t been found. His 14-mile journey to work that night had led him to disappear without a trace, and his father feared the worst.

Eddie’s father shared with us that Eddie was a strong-willed, resilient young man who lived with epilepsy, having many seizures these past few years, which had deeply impacted his life. Despite the challenges, Eddie persevered, always finding ways to support himself and stay independent, accompanied by his loyal companion, a small dog named Sassy.

After narrowing down our search area to a 2-mile stretch along the Columbia River in North Portland, we conducted an intense sonar search along Marine Drive. As we scanned the river, we located multiple vehicles, but only one which appeared to be a van 12 feet underwater, about 35-40 feet from shore, in the size and shape of Eddie's van. We suited up and dove on the vehicle, confirming that it was Eddie’s 1994 Dodge van, resting on its wheels with all windows intact. Inside, we saw an individual in the driver’s seat.

After calling Eddie's father who lives in Florida, we then notified law enforcement. That evening, the Sheriff’s Marine Unit and Dive Team successfully recovered the van. Tragically, Eddie and his loyal friend Sassy were found inside.

Eddie's journey touched so many lives, from his family and friends to coworkers and the countless individuals who shared his struggles. His father’s faith in our work, and the love and concern of those close to Eddie, were evident throughout the investigation. We are deeply honored to have been entrusted with finding Eddie and bringing him and Sassy back to his family, providing answers they so desperately needed.

We will share a video of our efforts in the weeks to come. We appreciate all of you for your support in watching and sharing our journey so that the next family can find us in the same way that Eddie's father was able to find and reach out to us in such a difficult time.

To Eddie’s family and friends, we extend our sincerest condolences. Eddie’s resilience, love for his family and friends, and the bond he shared with his faithful dog, Sassy, will not be forgotten. Thank you for letting us be part of his story, to document, and to share with others. 🕊️💔

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the discovery of Graham Case, who has been missing for over a year. After an exhaustive search and the unwavering efforts of many, Graham has been found. While this news brings sorrow, it also brings peace to those who have been tirelessly searching for answers and holding onto hope.

Graham was a beloved father, son, and friend who faced significant challenges in his life. His loss has been deeply felt by all who knew him. As we reflect on his life, we ask that you join us in offering prayers and support to his family during this difficult time.
