Struggling with chip control? The EMUGE NF cutting profile made all the difference Recently we were machine some demo parts out of 304 SS and the chip control was a nightmare. Trochoidal toolpaths are great except for the long stringy chips they produce. Kent Hohensee from EMUGE FRANKEN suggested I try switching my TiNox-Cut VAR end mill to the new Trochoidal version with the NF edge prep. Well in this case the pictures tell it all. And with the staggered NF edge prep I was still able to finish. Thanks Kent, what a difference.
