I'll never forget this moment…

Seeing the cover of The Bold Move for the first time.

It suddenly felt real, like this book is really getting published and shipped worldwide thanks to my publisher Wiley.

This book isn't just another career guide. It's the exact roadmap I used to pivot from a Clinic Manager to becoming a tech recruiter and starting my own business.

The same strategies I've used to help thousands of professionals navigate career transitions, build confidence and identify their skills.

It's for the woman staring at AI headlines wondering "Will I be replaced or will I lead?"

For the professional who knows their capable of more but doesn't know how to package their skills for this new world.

For anyone tired of watching others make bold moves while you stay stuck in analysis paralysis.

I wish someone had told me 12 years ago: Your transferable skills are your superpower.

The courage to start before you feel ready is your competitive edge, and in a worldwhere 44% of workers' core skills will change in the next 5 years, the ability to pivot isn't optional it's essential.

This book contains the BOLD Move formula that's helped women transition into AI, step into C-suite roles, and build businesses that matter.

The exact frameworks, mindset shifts, and action plans you need to future-proof your career.

The book will be out in November and presales available very soon.

What are your thoughts on the cover?

I just submitted the first full draft of my upcoming book, The Bold Move!!!

It now heads to the brilliant team at Wiley for a three-month editing process, during which it will be tightened, shaped, and pushed to be the best version before it goes to press, and finally, in the hands of readers worldwide.

It’s an intense back-and-forth, and I’m here for it.

Out of curiosity, I looked up some stats this week and was shocked to read that;
97% of people who start writing a book don’t finish.
Only 3% do; of those, just 0.6% go on to get published.

It’s safe to say I’m proud to be in that 0.6%, but more than that, I’m reminded how easy it is to talk about doing something rather than actually finishing it.

A few things I have learnt from this process so far are;

Momentum matters more than motivation.
You won’t feel like doing it most days, but do it anyway.
Deadlines drive discipline.
You won’t feel ‘ready, but courage always comes before confidence.

I’ll share more of the behind-the-scenes in the lead-up to launch, but for now, I’m pausing to take it in at this moment, because finishing the draft is a big deal, and so is what’s coming next.

If you’ve been sitting on an idea, whether it’s a book, a business, or a bold move, then just start, however small the first step may be.

Ideas are easy, but execution is everything.
