There are many ways to minimize our ecological footprint. I think the easiest is to cook for yourself and not buy processed food. An other is to grow your own food as much as possible.
This channel aims to inspire you to try this. You can do a lot yourself if you take the time. It's not always easy, but little by little we can move towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
So, welcome to my garden! I want to share with you my interest in natural gardening and cooking. I use mostly vegetables, flowers and herbs from my garden. Sometimes I forage wild food too.
There is no talking, but some of the videos have subtitles, please turn them on if you want to know more.
You can find information about the preparation and quantities in the video description.
Garden Cookbook
Hello! In case you're wondering, I've changed the name of the channel. "Fermented Garden" has led to some misunderstandings. Some viewers were expecting detailed explanatory videos about fermentation techniques. I have now adapted the name to better fit the content. "Garden Cookbook" refers to the pleasure I get from cooking and eating what my vegetable garden has to offer. It's more about inspiration than instruction. The style of the videos will be the same as before, quiet scenes from my garden and kitchen, no talking, but maybe a bit of music. I hope that's okay with you.
Happy New Year to you all!

Is it possible to harvest and eat the seeds of the corn poppy? There will be a new video about it this weekend. Watch it if you like and find out.

This weekend there is no video because I did not manage to edit. There is so much happening in the garden right now and I was also busy with the honey harvest. But don't worry, it's coming soon and I'm sure you will enjoy it. Featuring strawberries!

There will be another video at the weekend. The lilacs are in full bloom and I want to try to capture the scent of the lilac blossoms in a dessert. It won't be too sweet, but very flowery.
