Hi everyone,

I lost both my great aunt and my grandfather within three days of each other. I am heartbroken. I have to take a break from posting but feel free to look at all of the videos that you may have missed.

My grandfather was also a gardener. He loved going in his garden and planting. Frankly he was growing bigger and better vegetables than what I have gotten so far in my garden. I got my banana and plantain pups from his garden.

They will truly be missed. One consolation is that they both knew the Lord so though I am sad I know that it is well with them.

I'm truly grateful to God for blessing my hands and for allowing me to have a space to grow food.

Sometimes there are struggles with garden pests and such but even in the spiritual we encounter trials and tests but we keep pushing because the word of God says weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.

I had a tough time getting the garden established and felt like giving up many times but I'm glad I didn't because now I can reap of the fruits of my labor.

Don't quit when things get hard. Trust that God is working it out.

Here is a headline in today's paper. A garden is becoming a necessity especially here where everything is imported.

Fuel prices are going up and so the prices in the grocery stores are also going to increase.

Please grow something! It would save you some money on your grocery bill.

I will plant out every free area that I have in the garden.
