I know it looks like I’ve officially moved into my stateroom on the Rotterdam, but there’s a method to the madness! 😂
The first 22 days of this journey were the heart of my mission: sailing with my amazing Just the Sip group! We escaped the Alaska frost 🥶 to explore the tropical ABC islands and check the Panama Canal off our bucket lists together. There is truly nothing like the energy of a group cruise—watching my 'Sippers' go from novice to confident over a glass of wine is why I do this. 🥂✨

🍷 Saviez-vous qu'un cœur millénaire bat sous les rues de Montepulciano ?
Beaucoup aiment le Vino Nobile, mais saviez-vous que les caves de la famille Contucci ne sont pas seulement un monument historique ? Elles sont toujours pleinement exploitées, exactement là où elles se trouvaient déjà à la Renaissance ! Sous leur palais familial de 1517, le vin vieillit dans des fûts changés tous les six mois — en plein centre monumental de la ville.

🍷 Wist je dat er onder de straten van Montepulciano een duizend jaar oud hart klopt?
Velen houden van de Vino Nobile, maar wist je dat de kelders van de familie Contucci niet alleen een historisch monument zijn? Ze zijn nog steeds volop in gebruik, precies waar ze in de Renaissance al waren! Onder hun familiepaleis uit 1517 rijpt de wijn in vaten die elke zes maanden worden gewisseld—midden in het monumentale centrum van de stad.
In deze aflevering van Just the Sip heb ik de eer om te praten met Andrea Contucci, de 40e generatie wijnmakers. Plan je een reis naar Italië? Dan moet deze historische cantina absoluut op je bucketlist!
