The AfriOne Show

Another banger. Tonight, we confront the Nigeria we live in—its politics, its Constitution, and the power games played behind closed doors. This episode exposes how the political elite have mastered the Constitution at the expense of the people, deploying so-called “watchdogs” to shield the truth from public view.

This is a table-shaker. A conversation designed to unsettle the establishment and awaken the citizenry. Elections are fast approaching, and without vigilance, you could be the victim—again. But the cycle can be broken, if we act now.

Join me tonight at 7:00 PM on Armed Forces Radio for a hard-hitting discussion:

Political Party Game: It’s Game On
(Politicians vs. The People)

This one concerns you. Listen in, engage, and be part of the change before the next election writes itself without you.

Rome wasn’t built in a day — but it was built on a day.
The question now is: When will Africa choose its day?
When will Nigeria finally agree on the ideology that will build the nation we all desire and deserve?

Because nations don’t rise by accident — they rise by decision, by ideology, and by a people who say, “Today, we start building.”

AFRICA, IT’S TIME TO BELIEVE IN OUR OWN

The story of George Stinney Jr. is one that still shakes the conscience of humanity.
At just 14 years old, this young boy of African descent became the youngest person to be executed in the United States in the 20th century.

Accused of killing two white girls — Betty (11) and Mary (7) — George was denied justice from the start. His trial lasted only two hours; the jury was entirely white; his parents were barred from the courtroom under threat; and he faced death alone — without a lawyer, without defense, and without the chance to see his family again.

On that dark day, 5,380 volts of electricity ended his life — not because he was guilty, but because he was Black.
Seventy years later, the State of South Carolina finally admitted what we always knew: George was innocent.

This is not just a story about one boy — it is a symbol of how the system was never built for us. The tragedy is not only in the past; it still lives in the policies, trade systems, and mental cages that keep Africa dependent today.

It’s time for us as Africans — in the motherland and across the diaspora — to wake up.
To believe in our own, to build our own media, justice, education, and economic systems. To stop looking to the West for validation and begin shaping our destiny with courage and conviction.

The freedom our ancestors died for will only make sense when we truly free our minds.
George’s story reminds us: the world may not always stand for Africa — so Africa must stand for itself.

🖤 Rest in power, George Stinney Jr.
May your story continue to awaken generations until Africa stands free, united, and self-sufficient.
