When was the last time you looked at yourself in the mirror and said “ You’re doing great, you are trying your best, God is with you, you will be okay?” I really want to encourage everyone to give yourself the same pep talks you give to those you care about. It may feel strange at first, but so is giving yourself the love and positive affirmations you never had. Speaking to our own bodies and encouraging ourselves verbally out loud is actually something we should engage in often. Speak to your body. Your body is listening.
I still can’t believe this record exist. It’s one of my favorite records of all time. What a time to actually be at this live concert 🥹🩷 did anyone see this live performance?
Before you feel bad about a relationship that expired, ask yourself how much of a significant difference that person made in your life physically, emotionally, financially and mentally. Most likely, they weren’t making much of a significant difference in your human experience. You were falling for what they could have been, not who they actually were.
If a woman has been a victim of DV, I believe law enforcement should automatically sign her up for therapy following her reporting the abuser. I wish lawmakers cared more about women to understand how DV can affect a woman’s mind. When a woman leaves a relationship with an abuser, she more than likely will go back due to the effect the abuse had on her mind. When a woman finally builds up the courage to report the abuser, it should be an automatic requirement for her to be enrolled in therapy and to have an abuse support specialist aid. To call her every day, spend time with her, talk to her, go out to lunch with her and help her move on. The abuser will always try and spin the block. They all do, whether male or female. However some women simply don’t have the bandwidth to reject the advance.
Women need more support. Their elders didn’t really show up for them, so women who don’t know them will have to step in to help. There needs to be more resources for things like this.

Why don’t women tell women the truth? Especially the younger generation of women? Why is the truth so painful for you?
