It’s 30th January today.

One month back, you said to yourself: “I will change from new year”

It’s been 30 days today.

This is just a reminder that changing dates don’t change you, until you, from the very bottom of your heart, decide to change yourself.

The month will again change in 2 days.

It will be February 1st.

The big questions remains: *When will you change?*

And let me tell you one thing.

It’s never too late to start working for your dreams.

Start today.

Even if you start weak, START.

The flowing water makes its way.

Start.

Success is never owned, it’s rented, and the rent is due every day.

31st December.

The last day of year 2025.

Some people say k chalo last day ha saal ka, bs isay jesay b kr k guzar laty han, kl sy change ho jain gy.. jesay kl kuch magical honay wala ha

Other people make sure k is saal ma sirf 1 din baqi ha, I will make sure k ye din mujh sy behtr kisi ne nhi guzara ho ga.

You see the difference?
That’s called discipline.

The day is same for everyone, the way you decide to spend it makes all the difference.

It’s just the start of the day.

You still have 15 hours left.. to take action, to do something meaningful, to make those decisions.

Make them right.

Everyone is born different. Everyone has different gifts. Mentr exists to help you polish the gift that YOU have, help you become the person YOU are born to become - to bring the best out of you, so that when you lead the world, you lead it to your full potential!

This is what education should be - getting a step closer to becoming your best version - and we are proudly rebuilding that in Pakistan.

Lastly, a great tribute to the Mentr team, who work day in and day out trying to make all of this possible. The Mentr team is the Mentr vision in action - everyone trying to use their natural gifts to change the world for the better, and yes, even if just a bit, it’s changing.

On 29-12-2024, many of you were thinking:

“2025 will be different. From January 1, I’ll finally change.”

Just imagining that version of yourself felt good.
Disciplined. Focused. Consistent.
Your best version.

Fast forward to today.
The year is ending, and not everything went the way you planned.

Some goals moved forward.
Some didn’t.

And once again, the mind says:

“It’s okay. I’ll start fresh in January 2026.”
As if these last days don’t matter.

Most people don’t fail because they lack ability.
They fail because they keep postponing serious effort.

Waiting for the “right time” feels productive.
It isn’t.

You still have 3 days left.
Not to plan - to decide.

How you end this year will define how seriously you enter the next.

Registrations for January batch close on 31st December.
What you do with it is your call.

Feeling jealous seeing others get admission?

You see their reels.
White coats.
Celebration posts.
Relief.

And deep down, you feel:

“I should’ve been there.”

Maybe circumstances changed.
Maybe consistency broke.
Maybe you couldn’t give your best.

That feeling turns into guilt.
Then silence.
Then low self-esteem.

So what do people say?

“Don’t think that way.”
“Be positive.”

But here’s the truth:
Jealousy is not a bad emotion.
It’s information.

It’s your heart clearly telling you what you want.

Instead of suppressing it, listen carefully:
What do they have that you deeply desire?

Once you identify that, the path becomes clearer.

Pause.
Admit it honestly:
“Yes, I want that.”

Make dua for them.
And make dua for yourself too.

Because feelings don’t disappear by ignoring them.
They change only when direction changes.

You just need to decide that this year, you’ll respond differently.

With structure.
With guidance.
With accountability.

If that’s what you’ve been missing, you already know what the next step looks like.

And this time, you don’t have to walk the path alone.

Most students choosing private MBBS don’t actually know what it costs.

Let’s be clear.
Private MBBS will cost around 1 crore PKR in 5 years.

That money usually comes from:
• parents’ life savings
• loans
• selling property

Now ask one simple question:
What do you earn after MBBS?

*After MBBS reality*

• House job pays around 67,000/month - mainly for government graduates.
Private MBBS graduates often get less or struggle to get house jobs.

• If you work as a Medical Officer and don’t enter FCPS, your salary stays around
40–50k/month.

After spending 1 crore, this is the return.

Then you have only TWO options

Option 1: Go abroad
Foreign exams (like USMLE) cost 60–70 lakh more.
Most private MBBS students are not prepared enough to clear them.

Ask your parents directly:
“After MBBS, can you spend another 60–70 lakh?”

If the answer isn’t an instant yes, don’t choose private MBBS.

Option 2: Open your own clinic in Pakistan
For a first-generation doctor, this can cost 1–2 crores.

Ask again:
“Can we invest another crore after MBBS and house job?”

If not - this path is closed too.

*Final truth*

Without these two options, most private MBBS graduates stay:
• underpaid
• stressed
• frustrated

Later, they say: “Medicine has no future.”
But the real problem is choosing MBBS without understanding the full cost.

*Mentr advice*

Private MBBS is not for middle-class families unless they can support you after MBBS as well.

If they can’t - don’t choose it.

Clear thinking today saves regret tomorrow.

If you’ve any question, ask below.
