We’re Jane and Johnny Cambridge – yes, Cambridge really is our surname, and we currently live in Cambridge - married, mildly chaotic, and running a business making Lambretta seats and merch (yes, we talk scooters a lot).
But this channel isn’t just nuts and bolts – it’s our everyday life, road trips, UK adventures, random town explorations, and our ongoing mission to find the UK’s best coffee and cake (all in the name of research, of course).

We couldn’t believe we’d walked past Cambridge’s famous Dinky Doors for the last few years without ever noticing them! 🤦♂️🚪
The funniest part? As soon as we stopped to admire them and started taking photos, other tourists noticed what we were looking at and began photographing them too! 😂📸
It just goes to show how easy it is to miss the little details until someone points them out. Cambridge really is full of hidden gems.

We arrived at King’s Lynn Tuesday Market expecting a much bigger food festival… but things didn’t quite go to plan! 😅
☕ Jane was delighted to get a properly made Costa Spanish Iced Latte this time, beautifully layered just as it should be. 👌
🍔 Then we couldn’t believe our eyes when we spotted a Wimpy.
We had to go in for a bit of nostalgia… but is Wimpy still any good?

🚐 A trip to WildAx HQ turned into an unexpected day exploring Halifax!
We took the van in to WildAx to get a few niggles sorted, so while the work was being done we headed into Halifax for a wander.
We found some stunning architecture, beautiful stained glass, a few quirky sights… and one window display that definitely made us do a double take! 👀
Sometimes the best part of a campervan trip isn’t the destination – it’s what you discover while you’re waiting.
