Do our videos miss the mark because they lack communication with you as a subscriber? Overly broad, or not enough depth on details? That's a running theory. Yes or no?
I made over $100,000 on one short video this summer... and on track to hit $1M by next summer. Who here is interested in a series on how I made the short go viral and built a DIY factory to jump start a million dollar business? The answers will dictate if I start a new channel for this series.
A lot of research went into figuring out how to scientifically compare the effectiveness of vinyl protectants in absorbing UV rays. A first ever on YouTube.
A cool new video if you haven't seen it. Posted Yesterday! (It's a little more technical but still easy to understand) So far it is preforming lower, so I am not sure if we will dive deeper into this in our regular videos. However, we are considering a membership as some have mentioned for technical specific videos! Since they don't pay the editing bills.
We got our first HATE Email from a viewer. They said our content sucks and is too surface level. The problem we face, is of all our subscribers, only a couple thousand maybe want high engineering detail. All of our viral videos are surface level to appeal to a wide audience and be entertaining, cool, but also informative. We're curious to know what people think. Add context in a comment of your opinions. YouTube is fun, but it takes many hours and planning. For us to exist, we need the ad revenue which means keeping a wider audience. So we cant go overly niche. Submarine content in general as you can imagine, is already niche. I want to take this moment to say we plan on venturing into other extreme DIY projects as well. Thanks!
Releasing tomorrow morning! (Eastern Time: 11AM) - 4 years in 20 minutes, How I Built A Homemade Submarine. All of the recovered footage from a broken phone.
In a few days you are going to see footage of how I built the submarine. Yes! - We recovered a lot of old footage from 7 years ago on a broken phone, in order to finally bring this to you! It is our most incredible video yet!
