LEGO POKEMON IS HERE!!! We've finally have LEGO Pokémon but maybe not in the way you would expect. No minifigures yet, only buildable characters but they look amazing! Eevee is insanely good, literally perfect in my eyes. Actually, a minifigure-scale Eevee would make this perfect but they captured the Pokémon beautifully. All of these sets are rated 18+ which is interesting but I guess Pokémon is a giant ip that a lot of adults love. Eevee comes with 587 pieces for $60 USD.
Pikachu is the next set with 2050 pieces for $200 USD. I think this is the weakest looking out of all of them but that's just because the other sets are just nearly perfect. The set comes with an opening Pokeball which is awesome and I think the effect coming out of it is great. He can stand up by himself without the stand but his head is locked in its position.
Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise are the next set for $650 USD and 6838 pieces. These are the best-looking Pokémon in the wave in my opinion and also the prettiest. All 3 of them are amazing and they have awesome environment builds that are great in their own right.
But these sets are interesting because they are all for adults, display-oriented, and not minifigure scale. Does this mean it's going to be like LEGO Super Mario with no minifigure scale sets or could we still get some in the summer? Could we get some sets based off the shows, movies, or video games? Or are we going to just fill out the LEGO Pokémon Pokédex? Comment what you think down below.
