Thanks you to all of those who showed support and love to the collab animation! I really appreciate it and so does the team! To answer some very frequently asked questions: Yes, it is obviously unfinished and no I will not be revisiting the project. I started the project out of love for the series. As I kept posting snippets, I noticed it was only ever used as a comparison tool to hate on the official show in order to praise ours or vice versa. It didn’t serve its purpose as a love letter in my eyes and I should’ve known since it’s the internet. This demotivated me and frankly, I grew burnt out and it’s partly my fault for making this a bigger project than I could handle. The main reason for the burnout was just because I was very on and off with the project as I juggled classes and my part time job. We were working on it all the way up until the day before the episode dropped so I sewed up what I could to release it. I did not want to work on it any longer nor saw the point in dropping it after the episode so I thought it’d be best to drop something than nothing since I had dropped teasers already. I had grew tired of the project and wanted to work on other things without it looming over my head. I saw no point in slaving all of my free time for a fun little fan animation which grew out of proportion in scope with unrealistic expectations when I really just wanted to focus on other things. It ended up becoming a fun little collab style video and I’m fine with that. Despite all of that, I am very grateful to have worked with so many talented people who I hope to work with in the future!

With that being said, I want to move on to other projects and will probably stop doing fan animations to focus on my own work for a little bit and picking up commissions. Again, I appreciate all the support!

HOLY MOLY JUST WATCHED THE FINAL EP OF S3 FOR INVINCIBLE AND WOW I WAS GLUED THE WHOLE TIME. I was kinda iffy about JDM as conquest at first but hearing him throughout this whole episode really sold me. He sounds like an absolute madman, I love it. They added lots of extra content throughout the fight which I loved like how Atom Eve had a whole fight scene with conquest. She has an OP power and I never liked that she is always sidelined in the comics so it was nice they gave her a moment to shine. Loved her suit up scene. And the extra bit of conquest venting to Mark was a nice touch. Really shows that viltrumites have “feelings” too and the capacity to change just like Omni man. And man, there were some really strong cuts and drawings in this episode. Sometimes the show stays too on model if that makes sense but I loved how they drew Mark in the fight at certain points. Honestly everything looked really good and direction was amazing. Presentation was top notch. I got real emotional seeing Eve and Mark laying together after the battle and the whole of Rex’s funeral. AAA, can’t believe it’s over but it was all so BEAUTIFUL 🙏🏼

Early screening Review

(NO SPOILERS) I got to see the first two episodes early and WAS ABSOLUTELY GAGGED AND LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. For all the people who were complaining about the animation in the trailers for S3 and last season, I gotta say it looks amazing here! A lot of dynamic fights and I can say for sure it’s looking better than S2 so far. There was some standout scenes with some really cool lighting! Robert Kirkman said something about wanting every episode this season to feel like a finale and I got to say it lives up to his word! Like honestly, I forgot I was watching a show, it genuinely felt like a movie. Very good pacing so far, there was never a dull moment and it’s covering the comic pretty fast while adding a lot of extra depth. And the VOICE ACTORS ARE ALWAYS ON THEIR A GAME. Anyways, I can’t wait to discuss fully when it comes out on Feb 6th and see the third episode!

I bought tickets to see an early screening of the first two episodes of invincible season 3 and I am so hyped! Anyways here’s a lil sneak peek of my progress:
