It's been a long time since I made a MySims drawing in this style, so I decided to draw one during my break. I love Makoto and Chaz McFreely, so I had to draw my two favorites: The pathological liar android girl and the egotistical man-child stunt devil 😭 Lmaoo I had no faith in this drawing because it was just looking whack. But yeah, the colors weren't working, the original palette was horrendous, I was scared to draw fire and shadows and junk. But I stuck it out to the end, and I ended up liking it! So, this is your sign to go finish that WIP you're not sure about! Trust your process!

Hey guys, what's good? I didn't feel like drawing my persona, so I instead drew Annie Radd and made like this y2k pop punk collage thing lmao!

Anyways, I know I owe you guys a bunch of content 😭 I'm working on it, I also owe life a bunch of things I've been neglecting omg. I actually made this drawing/collage on my phone in the Jury Duty waiting room, bahaha. SO yeah, I think I need a bit more time getting life together! Lowkey I'm starting to like my phone doodles more than my iPad ones haha!

HIATUSSS!!!! But like y'all won't notice I'm gone, okay, don't worry 😭😭😭 To explain further, I need some time to get my ducks in a row and do something relaxing since my real life is anything but relaxing. Like after a year of no work, I ended up finding a full-time job, but that job is lowkey dangerous 💀 and I've had many injuries. And with my last injury, I fell, and then I got laughed at by someone for falling. No one cared, but the doctor confirmed my knee was bruised. I even broke my square glasses y'all 🥲

I guess, in hindsight, my falling and crying probably looked funny. I probably looked like that one Peter Griffin running and falling clip 😭 But at the time, y'all, that sh*t sent me into a f*cking self-hate spiral. I was like damn, how did my life even get to this.

I take my ashwaganda gummies, drink my ashwaganda tea. Got my stress cards in my backpack, but like damn, I couldn't hold it together, and I started screaming and crying a lot. Not cause my knee hurts, but cause my existence started to hurt ✊😔 I worked so hard in college and in life just to end up where I am now. Living in poverty, losing my dream job, and having no peace and quiet. I don't feel alone since I know a bunch of other 20-somethings are living the same hell I'm living. But I can't help but feel sad, angry, and bitter about how my life turned out despite working so hard. But oh well.

I can't control any of that immediately. But what I can do is do things that make me feel better. I think I'll spend this month redecorating my room a bit. My room feels like a prison sometimes, so I want to live it up a bit, making it more enjoyable to work in. I work on videos in my room, and my room looks like a damn storage unit. So time to make it look prettier!

I also want to work on making some more art! Like, specifically the art on my instagram. Um, shameless plug: go follow me there if you want! But yeah, I specifically want to do this because I find it really relaxing. Especially when I'm having a stressful week 💕

And lastly, I'm gonna spend time backing up my art from my iPad. I heard about some other artist losing their artwork on Procreate. And I dead*ss don't want that to happen to me. If I lose all of my book's source files. I'm gonna lose my ability to fake being a normal, sane person. My iPad is on its deathbed already, so I'm gonna spend time archiving all of it before it's gone!

Anyways, that being said, there will be a pause for long-form content! Don't get me wrong, making videos is super fun to do, but it can be a bit of a mad dash to get it out every two weeks. So I wanna spend my time doing relaxing things like organizing everything (my form of neurodivergency fun lmao) and making art!!!!

I'll be posting and making shorts too as a way to show I didn't die bahaha but I think I owe you guys the ORBZ manga reading and a couple of Rosemadi Recaps from last year! But yes, give me like a moment to self-soothe a bit!!!

Lmao, I gotta accept that one of my favorite fantasies from High School is now ruined forever!!!!

If you heard my voice, you know there was no way in hell I could be a singer 💀, but now that one of my favorite songs, "Hold My Hand" by Jess Gylnne, became a meme (Jet2 holiday meme), I could never in a billion years sing that song on stage unironically. After so many years, the song became just as absurd as All Star by Smash Mouth or Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. The internet did its thing and changed the vibe of a good song 😭💔

When I was like 14 years old, there was nothing I wanted more than to be an extrovert. I wanted to be loud and outgoing, but I wasn't. Instead, I took Lexapro, never made eye contact with anyone, my hands would shake, I'd lose my breath every time I spoke 😭 I was a crybaby and a loser, I mean, I still am, but--

Anyway, at night, I'd stim to music, basically walking back and forth in my room at 3am (I didn't know how to dance then 😭), and I'd imagine being at big parties and just singing to whatever song made me feel outgoing. Singers are outgoing, right? People would like me more if I were a singer, I guess? I don't know, but that's what I'd assume. But that Jess Glynne song that's now a meme gave me the comfort of being an extrovert because there was no amount of medication, or exposure therapy, or what-have-you that would fix it back then. It was a nice fantasy and it stuck with me for years, but now I gotta let it go 😭

I still fantasize about dance parties, musicals, and singing. Those pace stims turned into actual dance moves bahaha. But yeah, a lot has changed since then. I think I was always quiet because I was fully aware of how weird I am, like not the good weird, just the straight-up very annoying cringe type hyperfixated on things no one cares about weird 😭 my personality always embarrassed me, so I kept it to myself. No one liked my ramblings. When I spoke, people looked at me funny, but I realized that when I didn't speak, I also got funny looks. So whatever, might as well just be myself then. And some days that's loud ramblings about MySims Racing, and on other days, it's quiet, listening in group settings. These aspects are both mine 😌

I stopped being embarrassed of myself and my interests. Jeez, it took so many years to just accept what I am. But I'm glad I'm finally taking steps to make fantasies a reality. I mean, not the singing thing lol, just being able to talk to people. And I didn't have to become a new person, I just had to embrace what I already was and find my people!

But yeah, I just doodled this cause this song was one of my favorite fantasies as a kid. Not upset that the song is forever ruined, just gotta make a little goodbye tribute drawing thingamabob for it 😭

Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday 😭

NO ONE TALKS ABOUT WHEN YOU DECIDE TO BE A YOUTUBER, literally everything you use to make YouTube videos slowly starts to deteriorate and then not work. My Laptop and iPad are slowly breaking apart.

I decided to make this post after seeing MagicMush's update video, and then the fact that my next video is probably gonna be super late lmao.

His issue was that he did all his video editing on a very old, outdated PC, and he needed a new one.

My problem is that I'm using a gaming PC lmao, which should be good, but it's so big and heavy and dies quickly and makes noise, and it's super fragile, and I use it for everything. YouTube, gaming, and irl work-related stuff!

The abuse this laptop has taken just by me carrying it everywhere, so I can work on a video. The many nights I had to wait for the stupid fan to stop going HHGGGGNNNNNNHHHH so I could start recording, dear lord. When I bought this laptop, I was not a YouTuber 😭 I just wanted something powerful enough to use Photoshop and play Dying Light.

Now, after a year of being a YouTuber, my laptop finally gave up on me. I'm currently unable to create a video because I don't wanna damage it further. The repairman said that it'd be $250 to fix it and that I need a new back cover, so I have to get rid of my stickers. Noooooo. Rest in Peace, so I'll show 'em off one last time before I have to start fresh!

But yeah, just like Magic Mush, I refuse to ask y'all for money 😭 I went ahead and dipped into savings to get another laptop that is powerful, portable, and silent, so I'm excited for my new efficiency. Also, I've been using my new laptop for like 5 hours and it's on 88%, heck yeah! Anyway, the old one will be for gaming like God intended, and the new one for content creation.

But yeah, when you start your channel, you're gonna 100% be working with the goofiest equipment. And that's the fun part! I don't think any new YouTuber buys a brand new laptop and tablet and whatever. You just work with what you have, then you learn what you need after it deteriorates in your hand.

I also do all my drawing on my iPad! And that's now starting to show signs of wear. I kept duct taping the case back together LMAOOOOOO, but after the 10th time, the tape fell off. I went and bought a new tablet case. But my ND self hates the texture of the new case 💀 but imma ignore that for now.

So far as a YouTuber, I've also made 421 images across my 36ish videos. You can do the math on that if you want, but yeah, Procreate is starting to lag harddddddd. I need to plan on transferring these drawings to a drive before I lose all of it omg!!! This iPad be moving in slow motion y'all 😭

But yeah, that's my mini update in case you're wondering why there's no video soon! But I'll be working diligently as I get readjusted to things.

I slaved away many nightshifts at a 7-Eleven for those things, and I'm glad I did so, so I don't have to beg y'all for coins. I'm just trying to have fun and share my love for OCs, art, and writing!!

Any ABBA fans here???? I didn't have time to mention this in the video, so I'll mention it now! But essentially, when I was creating these OCs, I had recently discovered ABBA for the first time!

No, I hadn't heard any of these songs before, except for like Dancing Queen, thanks to my 10th grade teacher 💀💀And some I've "heard" before, but never paid attention to it. For example, if it's at a Walmart or something, I wasn't really hearing it 😭 I never knew who sang them or what the lyrics were saying.

But yeah, I was listening to them essentially for the very first time, and I instantly fell in love! The songs sounded so much like Sailor Moon music to me! I never knew what the music genre for that anime was.

I always loved "Princess Moon" and "Moonlight Densetsu," but I never would have guessed it was 70s Europop 😭😭😭. I thought it was Japanese or something.

Anyways, I couldn't stop listening to Mama Mia, Money Money Money, Dancing Queen, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Angel Eyes, Knowing Me Knowing You, and especially That's Me on repeat! Lol these song names 😭💕

I forever associate ABBA with these OCs because:
1. The color palette for their first album inspired the palette for these characters, just a lot of neutral browns!
2. I was listening to these songs while actively planning their designs, personalities, and issues.
3. I did that weird thing where you hear a song and then imagine a music video for your OCs 😭😭😭

These guys will always have some kinda ABBA inspiration to them, even if that inspiration is loose and chaotic bahaha!

But please let me know if you've done this too! Basing your OC's essence, aura, and whatnot off music!!

Lmao, it's Jioni's birthday! I only remember because it's the same day as my best friend's birthday!

Anyways, it's crazy that I still draw a character I created in middle school 😭She used to be older than me, but not anymorrreeeee! Some people prefer to age up their OCs to match their own age. I always kept Jioni the same age because she reflects the mindset of a teenager, since a teenager created her after all, I want to stay true to that! I may make a YouTube short discussing the whole aging OC thing!

Fun Facts about Jioni's development over the years!

1. She was not the main character before, barely a side character. Emmitt and Kathy used to have more relevance to the plot 💀

2. Her name used to be Aster, then Reyna! Her name became Jioni in 2022!

3. I could not choose a damn hairstyle for her. When I started my natural hair journey, so did every black OC I had 😭😭😭, but I learned to love non-natural styles. Now, it's hard to imagine Jioni without locs!

4. Since her creation, she has always been a part of some story involving fighting!

5. The flannel is new! She used to wear a military-style uniform!

Yesterday, on the 3rd, the most neurodivergent thing happened 😭😭There was a fireworks show happening in our town, and while everyone was outside, my friends and I made excuses not to see it. 💀

Friend 1: "It's too cold outside" (Excuse)
Friend 2: "It's not even the 4th yet." (Excuse)
Me: "I'll see them later." (Lying, I have misophonia lmao)
I lowkey think we all just get overstimulated by them idk 😭

So we stayed inside, and my friend's dog started freaking out at the fireworks. So I ran to comfort the baby 😭 and now we're all in my friend's room with her dog. Friend 2 shows us her new books, and then we randomly started reading them out loud to comfort the dog, and it worked bahaha We all took turns reading a page😭💕 We read The Aristocrats and Peter Pan until the baby fell asleep. And lowkey reading books helped me, too, not tweak to the fireworks. Man, I love my friends and that dog 😭💕

Anyway, I'm not ready for today 🫠, but I'll spend the day working on Art Fight Defenses and responding to comments! I'll listen to the Hamilton Musical to seem more patriotic idfk 💀Happy 4th, everyone!
