‪@elektroguzzi‬ deliver in one fell swoop one of the most fascinating realizations for live techno and at the same time one of the biggest innovative leaps of the concept “band” in recent years. Equipped only with guitar, bass and drums, they have been playing their unique kind of hypnotic dance music at festivals and clubs all over the world for more than 10 years. For their upcoming album TRIP they return to their roots and are giving us a pre-release show in the Deep Space with visuals by Eyup Kuş!

With a thematic focus and an impressive video projection under the title “#eachnamematters,” the Mauthausen Memorial will give the thousands of victims a face from May 4 to 6, 2021, and contrast the mere number of 90,000 with concrete names and individual life stories.

During these three days, Ars Electronica will be visualising the names in a livestream, and each evening from 8PM to midnight there will also be a live feed of the installation on site in Mauthausen.

Growing up, infotrainer Birgitt fell in love with puppetry and marionettes – and who would have thought that many years later, there'd be robots who can put on their own kind of puppet show? 🎭🤖

In our latest video from the Ars Electronica Center, she shows you another interesting installation and shares some personal thoughts about the digitalisation of human craftsmanship.
