Hi all, this is Rich's wife Bec.

I'm very sad to announce that my wonderful husband passed away on 15th August after a short and aggressive battle against cancer.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported Rich's channel, exploring was a great love of Rich's and he loved sharing his experiences with you all.

He leaves his family and friends with these brilliant videos which show him at his happiest.

Just like Rich's tag line, he is now Exploring Beyond.

Even though I'm not creating content and still battling cancer I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has remained subscribed to me and to all the new subscribers I am still getting.

Your continued support really means a lot to me and I look forward to eventually in the future creating for you again.

I'm currently in hospital having a bit of a rough time but this photo was from a few weeks ago with my daughter.

So I had another really positive oncology appointment Monday along with a CT scan. Unfortunately I don't get the results from that untill my next oncology appointment in three weeks, if there was anything of major concern I'd have heard in a couple days..

I haven't.

So that's good news, my oncologist did look me in the eye prior to my scan and told me everything is going to be ok, which was hard not to get emotional if I'm honest.

I do currently feel pretty rough as I have just received my fifth out of six rounds of chemo so sickness, laziness and everything that comes with it is temporary at a high, but I'm used to this now.

Sitting here staring at my exploring kit some of which is new and I haven't been out since November/ December now because of being ill and fighting.

I'm so eager to get out. But it is physically impossible with my energy levels/sickness, I'd never manage it, however June is the end date for my treatment so we're not a million wiles away I guess.

Carrying the weight of this bag alone would destroy me 😂 it's a beast!

Morning. Just an update to how I'm currently getting on. Everything seems to be going as it should. I did end up in hospital on Saturday for the night and they wanted to keep me in!! Fortunately I talked myself out of it and managed to escape 😄.

We had a hotel booked Sunday so I could wake up to a nice change of scenery for my birthday on Monday so really wanted to get to do that. Thankfully we made it! And it was the most relaxing night ever! Room service, and general chill out in a nice room, the same room we had when we got married 7 years ago ❤️.

So yes! I'm still looking for abandoned places on Google maps in my spare time and pinning places ready to go visit when I'm able to. Thank you all for your lovely and support ❤️

Bit of an upgrade for when I'm able to get back out there and explore.

Traded in my Panasonic GH5 in for the S5. One reason being the photography side of things are way better on this cameras allowing me to wonder around where I live during treatment to take a few photos.

The video performance is mind blowing!! So it will bring a lot to the channel.

It also gives me something to look forward to, thinking about the future.

I'm also editing, I think my final video for the channel for a while. Just to update you guys

Treatment is going well! This was taken a week ago and was my first IV cycle. Five left until I complete. I have this once every 3 weeks and then tablets at home.

Thanks to everyone who has been watching my content and keeping my channel alive!

I ended up in hospital for just over a week, last week. But I'm out now and awaiting a date for my chemotherapy to start up again. I have a meeting this morning.
