(Btw, so there’s no confusion, Darkshot and Heartshot are the same person, Darkshot is his name to outsiders, think of it as a alter ego

New Heartshot look! And lore…

Darkshot Lore

Tired of the Depression caused by Frisk in the underground, Heartshot decided to take matters in his own hands. He decided to try and kill frisk early, regardless if it’s a Pacifist or Genocide run, but the human learned quickly and dodged most of his attacks. Heartshot wasn’t strong enough so he went to Dust for help. Dust suggested killing monsters for LV, but Heart didn’t want to kill his fellow monsters, the whole point was to make everyone happy again..for good.
So Dust(with the permission from Nightmare) took Heart with him on missions, to kill monsters for LV, in order to get stronger, but Heart was unsure about killing..but Dust managed to persuade him it’s for the best if he wants to save his Au. A few missions later, Heart was stronger…braver, not enough, but for now..

He took on a new look and name and is now bent on defeating Frisk, (while also going on missions with Dust to gain Lv) his plan to repeatedly defeat them, hoping that the Player gives up and stops playing, leaving the Au in peace..

Darkshot to outsiders, Heartshot to his closest friends and family, the skeleton is faster, swifter on air, more powerful and the effects of his gun is stronger…and more ruthless. All while still maintaining his “Sans” personality, but more daring..and dangerous.
