Hey there! My name is Ope, a self-proclaimed bookworm who identifies as a fangirl first—being human takes 2nd place. I love all kinds of reading media: books, manga, webtoons but I've also dipped into other fandoms along the way like k-pop, anime, Asian dramas etc. Did I mention that I also love learning and discovering new things? Yup, I am just a full-time hobby collector and this channel is a slice of my life. If any of that sounds remotely interesting to you, pull up, you just might find a relatable stranger in me :)

There’s a bit of fatigue towards Fei Tian licenses from fans, understandably so, but he has a pretty large catalogue.
In other non-danmei related news, we also got three baihe license announcements from Seven Seas!!! and an anime adaptation announcement for Here U Are, which is one of my favorite BL manhua 😭😭
I also added some more additional retailers for Via Lactea, they added a section for retail partners on their website!

I always tell myself I’ll try to post consistently on the community page but it never happens 😅
Anyway, I couldn’t upload last week because CapCut kept playing in my face. Features that used to be free or available with the standard version got stuck under the pro version paywall every other week, and I got sick of it. So I decided to try another editing app 🙂 but it had a higher learning curve than I expected and today’s upload required quite a bit of editing. It doesn’t have quite as many features as CapCut but I knew exactly what I’m getting and since I already paid for it, I’m determined to get my money’s worth.
That was a pretty long winded explanation but there you have it. I doubt anyone is watching my videos for my mediocre editing skills but if you notice a difference, that’s why. Happy reading 🤗

Gang, I’m straying from my usual upload this week. It’s kind of a monthly wrap-up, except instead of talking about books, I’m talking about one drama series, because it took over my life in April.
Is anyone else here a Korean/Chinese drama watcher? Are you watching Perfect Crown? What have you been watching? This is mostly a video I filmed for myself honestly so I’m not expecting it to perform well lmaoooo, hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Gang, consider me out of commission this week 😭😭 I’ve been watching Perfect Crown obsessively, the episodes that have aired so far and fan edits, obsessed is an understatement. I was also in New York this past weekend for Bookcon and the MDZS cafe at dimension poptown, which kept me pretty busy. I hope you all had a lovely weekend and have a great week ahead ♥️🥰

2026 has gone off to a bit of a rough start. My plans to film some wrapup videos at the end of 2025 were thwarted by a flu that lasted from right after Christmas well into the new year. I thought I’d fall back on some back log but upended a bottle of coke into my purse yesterday, taking the iPad I was using to edit today’s video out of commission until further notice 😌
I’ll try to edit the video on my laptop but that means I won’t be able to upload a video today. I hope your year is going as well as it can so far ♥️
