2026 has gone off to a bit of a rough start. My plans to film some wrapup videos at the end of 2025 were thwarted by a flu that lasted from right after Christmas well into the new year. I thought I’d fall back on some back log but upended a bottle of coke into my purse yesterday, taking the iPad I was using to edit today’s video out of commission until further notice 😌

I’ll try to edit the video on my laptop but that means I won’t be able to upload a video today. I hope your year is going as well as it can so far ♥️

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well!

Little life update: I’ve been buddy reading the danmei novel, rose and renaissance, with some friends. Currently on the third volume and enjoying it a lot so far, also planning to finish up my read through of Ai Yazawa’s catalog that I own physically.

In terms of what I’m watching, a few friends and I have been anticipating “The First Frost” since it was announced last year, but we’ve decided to binge all of it after the series is complete, looks like we made the right choice going by the updates I’ve been seeing on social media. Also, is anyone watching the drama adaptation of Priest’s silent reading? How is it going so far? I’ll probably delay my watch for that one until I’ve read the series.

What have you all been up to? I’m taking an impromptu trip later this week so I’ll be off for another week before I start posting again. The plan is to be back on the 23rd but I also have some danmei unboxings that I shared as reels on Instagram that I’ll probably post in the meantime. I hope you all have a lovely week ahead. I’ve finally caught up on my 2024 uploads and the last of them will be going up today, which is a 2024 wrap up in my reading journal. It’s been a bit of a struggle to balance this channel with other things so I’ll be taking a short break from posting — probably about two weeks — but in the meantime, I’ll also be planning out content for 2025. Which brings me to the question, is there a specific type of content you’d like to see on this channel? I get suggestions here and there in comments and those are really fun to work on!
