Hello everybody! I want to first say thank you so much for all the kind words I got from my short film I posted last week. I worked so hard on making that film happen and seeing everyone who watched it seemed to really enjoy it makes that hard work all worth it in the end. I would genuinely love to make more movies in the future and hopefully out do Pirates Anonymous. This passion has also admittedly made me thought about just retiring from making Defeat Videos. Today is NOT going to be that day, but I feel like it’s going to happen very soon. The plan is to probably stop on my birthday (August 28th), but I don’t know, we’ll see. Seeing a new generation of Defeatubers has also been kind of a factor why I want to stop. Feels like I kind of have to do some sort of passing of the torch with all this. I still very much enjoy making these types of videos and while I’ve been kinda mixed on some things in this community, the fact that I’ve met people that I can call my best friends FROM this community will make it special to me until the day I die (as corny as that sounds lmao). I’m still going to make a good amount of defeat videos for a bit, but just know this has been on my mind for awhile.
