💔 K-1 Community: When the Marriage Fails Quickly
I saw a tough situation posted in a K-1 group (image attached). A husband married his wife less than a year ago via the K-1 visa, and she has cheated and left.
He is asking three critical, and very painful, questions:
Is this something he should report as marriage fraud?
What is the process to file for divorce?
Does this affect her legal right to stay in the US?
This is the nightmare scenario where a relationship fails but leaves behind massive legal and immigration questions.
