This is my statement after what went down yesterday.

I lost over 200 subscribers today and then gained them all back within a few hours, but that sort of rush is what causes our community to be toxic in general.

This is might be obvious to some of you but the OSC is filled with an insane amount of problematic creators and drama. It's not what anyone joined the community for. For the creators, we're all here together as content creators, and we all share the same goal to entertain our audience and have a good time while doing it. Jacknjellify has nurtured a positive environment, but when the drama has gotten to this size where people are mass-unsubscribing over NOTHING is insane.

It's very easy to call out another Youtuber when you find them doing something that you don't like or something you think other people won't like, and doing that for one, is terrible, but trying to profit off it is even WORSE. Constructive criticism is useful but not when you're calling someone out, making it difficult for us to make content for our community as Youtubers and giving us unneeded backlash that can damage our audience(s). Yes, I'm woke.

I'd like to give an example of something like this that has happened to another Youtuber, ‪@GDNachoo‬, who got backlash on allegedly using alternate accounts for the BFB 20 Voting Results in May 2020. It was later revealed that he, in fact, didn't actually do anything wrong, and the allegations were incorrect. This is the kind of "call-out" behavior that I'm talking about.

I specifically know other channels that do the same thing that I was called out for, but I won't silently namedrop anyone since stopping that kind of behavior is the exact point of this community post's existence. So please, don't be a hypocrite.

Also, if you are a well-known Object Show Youtuber, don't use the power of your fanbase to your benefit. Don't come after creators for no reason unless there's PROOF that they've done something wrong, which there was absolutely none in my case and yet my day got ruined.

To conclude, if you ever feel like you want to give someone constructive criticism, don't call us out randomly on Youtube lol. We all have our own lives to live. Most of us are still students in school and have a ton of other responsibilities. So, the least we could do is give each other a break and help each other instead of attacking other Youtubers.

Just . . . please don't discount our work as content creators. It's not that hard lol. Hours are put into our videos and when someone mocks a video over something THAT insignificant it makes them look pretty terrible. So save yourself some drama, Diamond, and stick to compilations of other people's work.

Thank you. If you've made it this far, you're a real champ.
