Devastating news from Manchester as 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 at a synagogue during Yom Kippur.

My thoughts are first and foremost with the 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 in the wake of this horrific attack.

𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. They take root when extremist ideologies are allowed to spread and fester within local communities.

The public deserves 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 from the authorities as the facts of this tragedy are brought to light.
