Since the release of his debut album Reasonable Doubt in 1996, Shawn “JAŸ-Z” Carter has transformed music, business, and culture. A multi-award-winning artist and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, he is widely recognized for both his iconic lyricism and lasting cultural impact.

30 years ago today, JAŸ-Z released “Ain’t No Nigga” featuring Foxy Brown, the second single from Reasonable Doubt and part of the soundtrack to the 1996 film The Nutty Professor.
The music video, shot in Miami, references the film Scarface and includes cameos from The Notorious B.I.G. and Irv Gotti.

Today marks the 28th anniversary of JAŸ-Z's single, "Wishing On A Star." Originally released exclusively in the UK as a single, The Trackmasters-produced track was a success in the UK, peaking at number 13 on the singles chart. The limited European edition is now available on vinyl.
