Happy New Year, everyone!

I just wanted to drop by and say hello. I hope you’re all doing well with your teeth and braces. 😊 Thank you so much for all the support the past year whether you watched my videos, commented, or shared your own journey. I truly appreciate every encouraging message. You have no idea how motivating those simple words are and how much they push me to keep creating content that I hope helps others, even in small ways. 🥹

While my case may be simpler than others, the length of my treatment is still kind of mindblowing lol. Sharing this journey with you has really helped me deal with the frustrations of a long treatment, and this channel has become a great outlet for me. Being in braces for so long actually led me to start this channel, and I’m grateful I get to share what I’ve learned along the way.

To my frequent commenters and silent viewers, thank you so much. I truly appreciate all of you, and I’ll keep sharing whatever I can to help make our journey easier this coming year.

Lately, I’ve also been thinking about showing a more personal side of me on Instagram. I have so many thoughts and ideas I want to share there, but I’m still figuring out what to focus on. Part of me wants to lean into the fun side, while another part wants to share deeper life lessons I’ve learned. It’s hard to balance when you have both a fun and serious side lol how do I choose? 😂😅 I’m still figuring it out, but if you’d like to join me there, you’re more than welcome to follow and connect. Of course, if you’re mainly here for braces content, you can always hang out with me right here on the channel.

On a more serious note, I hope you enjoy the remaining holidays and get to spend them with the people you love. If someone asked you to pick a color right now, what would you choose? Because honestly, if you’ve got metal braces, you know this is our monthly little dilemma 😂 And low-key, it’s something I actually look forward to. I’m like… “Did I already try this color?” But maybe it’s time to switch it up and try something new, right? 😆

Anyway, guys I’m still yet to upload my braces update for this month. It’s a bit late cause couldn’t find the time to sit down and record last week. Besides all the things I had to take care of, I also couldn’t record right away because I was dealing with jaw pain for three days 😩

Just a VERY quick update, this month’s adjustment was the toughest one so far in 2025. 😭😩 The TADs that were screwed into my jaw plus the adjustment had me struggling fr. 😵‍💫

If you’re wondering, I’m fine now 😂 It took me about a week to get over the swelling. I’ll tell you everything once I post the video and the little updates, so stay tuned… and keep smiling! 😩😆🥹

I am writing this post as a way of appreciation to all those who subscribed to the channel. We finally hit the 1k sub, which came a bit earlier than I expected 😅. I hope my videos have helped those who have braces, and that you’ve learned some of the things I discovered about orthodontics while I’m on my journey as well.🦷

I will continue to post videos that are helpful for you guys, and if you have questions or suggestions, please feel free to comment because I read all of them. 📝

To add, I also recently celebrated my 30th birthday last June, which I celebrated in one of the happiest places on earth, Disneyland. ✨ I felt like I was back to being a kid again. I was watching the last show with the fireworks, and got a bit emotional knowing that I am now entering a new decade of my life. 🌱 

It started to sink in that I will never be as young as I am now and life has to move forward no matter what. It was a liberating experience looking back on all the experiences I had in my 20s, including starting this channel LOL. 🩵

With this, I just want to set aside for now topics about braces, and instead share with you some insights I learned in my 20s. Hopefully, you guys get something from it.

These are 30 things I learned in my 20s that I will bring with me into the next decade.
