A space for critical takes and cultural reflection.
I make video essays on pop culture, identity, internet trends, and the politics of basically.... everything. I unpack how media shapes the way we see ourselves, and each other.
Come for the commentary. Stay for the analysis that actually makes you feel something.

New video is up.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re only allowed to be a version of yourself other people approve of, this one’s for you.
We’re talking about Ariana Grande - but not in a “let’s recap her eras” way.
We’re talking about reinvention. Public girlhood. The pressure to be digestible. The cost of constantly becoming.
I rewrote this video three times. I even got halfway through editing and started again.
Because the deeper I went, the more complicated it became.
Ariana’s always been in my peripheral view, but I was never a FAN fan. I thought this was going to be about a girl who doesn’t know who she is.
It turned into something else.
It became a video about what happens when your identity isn’t just yours - it belongs to the public. At least from what I can see.

Hi everyone! Is this thing on? Now you can post on my channel, too? Maybe we kick things off with asking, what kind of videos or topics would you like to see on my channel?

I’m baaaack 🤍 This next video was a slow one to make.
It’s about desire, validation, and the strange way women are rewarded for certain performances, and then quietly trapped inside them. Using Sydney Sweeney and Cassie as a starting point, I started noticing how many of Cassie’s traits seem to follow Sydney into real life.
The video looks at Sydney’s off-screen choices, and how pandering to men and monetising your own objectification can be a double-edged sword, one that offers power, visibility, and opportunity, but also comes with a real cost.
If you’ve ever felt like being wanted came with strings attached, this one might hit close to home.

Hey guys 💛
I’ve been taking a little break from YouTube and work to travel and, honestly, just touch some grass.
Last year has been an incredible journey. I genuinely never imagined the channel growing the way it has, and it’s been so exciting to see that progress unfold. I’m really grateful, and really excited, to create even more thoughtful, challenging content for you in 2026.
That said, juggling this channel alongside a full-time job has taken a bit of a toll on me, both mentally and physically. So I’m taking a short moment to recharge, reset, and come back feeling like myself again.
When I return, I might also experiment with some new video formats to take a bit of pressure off the longer essay content, while still keeping the depth you’re here for.
Thank you for sticking with me. I’ll be back soon!

Do you think the criticism of Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl album is overstated?

Soooo… I went down a whole rabbit hole trying to figure out why Taylor feels so off right now. Almost like a teenage girl trapped in a woman’s body. Not just the music — the energy, the branding, the whole… aura.
This video is me unpacking all my thoughts on Taylor Swift’s girlhood industrial complex, her attitude toward other women in pop, the MAGA dog-whistling, the manufactured relatability, and why so many of us have had that weird off-feeling about her lately.
If you’ve been side-eyeing this era too, come watch. We’re dissecting it together! ✨

Loved this video. I’ve always loved how other languages have words for feelings and concepts that we all know and feel but don’t have words for in the English language. This video takes that idea and expands on how language actually becomes how you interpret the world around you. Real interesting conversation.

If being a woman in your 20s at work feels unbearable… it’s because it is.
This one’s all about what it’s actually like trying to survive corporate life as a young woman, the unwinnable rules, the tiny cuts of microaggressions, the gaslighting, and the creeping imposter syndrome that comes with it.
Huge thank u to everyone who commented on my post about this, some of your stories actually made it into the video 🫶 (y’all are basically co-writers at this point).
Think of this video as: part comedy, part horror, part survival guide for women in their 20s just trying to clock in without crying in the bathroom.
Go watch, scream with me in the comments, and pls share with your favourite office survivor 💼🔥

Trying to be more active on here, and involve you guys in more future videos!
I’m working on a new video about young women’s experiences in the workplace and I need your input.
If you’re Gen Z (20s, and early 30s), what’s work been like for you so far?
Do you feel respected and treated fairly?
Have you run into challenges because of age, gender, or both?
Or maybe you’ve had great experiences — I want to hear those too.
If you're not in the group, older women, men, would still love to hear if you have any thoughts!
