😂 Behind the scenes of filming "How to Help a Cavalier Who Is Scared of the Leash"...

Angel Dexter was being such a silly monkey during this shoot! I was trying to demonstrate how to gently introduce the harness, and he kept nose-targeting it on his own. Like, "Mom, I KNOW this game, let me show you how it's done!"

If you watch the video, you'll notice I even say "ignore the touching of the harness" because he was being so enthusiastic about it. That's the beauty of teaching dogs young and keeping training fun—they actually WANT to participate.

Your Cavalier might not be as confident with the leash yet, and that's completely okay. We all start somewhere.
