My channel name is also a side reference to the classic Casio Illuminator technology which you'll see is an unhealthily large element of my own digital watch collection. I hope that you will find your watch of my videos illuminating :)
We explore different eras, nationalities and types of wrist watch, ranging from 70-90s digital watches (eg Casio Seiko Timex) , electric and electronic watches of the analog; LED and LCD variety, history of watches from different countries beyond the more well known, as well as mechanical watches and movements of all sorts. I hope you enjoy nerding out with me on different avenues and rabbit holes of watchdom, including some areas that are less well trodden. I hope you enjoy the channel!

Just checked in on the channel today. Folks have spent 100,000 hours watching my videos which is crazy to me! So glad people have continued to watch since I’ve dialled down the uploads after how much time I spent on them. Wow - Channel has somehow got to 11k subscribers. I know it’s been a while since any videos made. As I’ve mentioned to a few folks that have asked , all is well, I’ve just prioritised running as a hobby recently. As I’m sure you noticed for the videos - when I’m into something - I’m in all the way so may capture some of the things I’ve learned along the way in that hobby at some point. Running watches could be the cross over! Thanks again to all those that have supported the channel - I struggle to remember much negativity at all beyond comments on my croaky voice and music volume - I’m hydrating better these days :) .
