I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and I’ve decided it’s time for a fresh start. First big change: I’m retiring the name EmeralDQueenTV and TatteredRoses4, being that said I'm introducing myself as McKenzie Sketches. The old name doesn’t really fit me anymore—it feels a bit outdated and doesn’t match the direction my art is heading. “McKenzie Sketches” feels brighter, more creative, and much more me.

I’m also shifting back into the art style I truly love: my comic style. For a while, I’ve been working in more serious styles like realism and oil painting, and somewhere along the way I forgot how fun and expressive my comic work is. That style brings me joy, and I’ve really missed it.

I’ll still be using some of my old chibi-themed packaging until it runs out, but creatively I’m moving forward with a new name and a renewed love for the art that makes me happy. Thank you for sticking with me through all my little evolutions—there’s more fun stuff on the way!
