Six years ago today, I started @dearfuturewifeypodcast as a bachelor on a mission to discover, uncover, and recover love. I never imagined that five years later, I would find that love, marry that love, and be standing here celebrating six years of this podcast that changed my life.
For five and a half years, I walked this journey alone, sharing my story and the stories of our guests with the world. I built this community. I held the space for your vulnerability. And then, four months ago, @ashleyrwhitfield stepped into this with me, and it became a full circle moment I didn't see coming. Having her as my cohost now makes this celebration even sweeter.
To every person who supported me, shared your stories, cried with me, traveled with me on our retreats, and seen the world through Dear Future Wifey—thank you. To every church and organization who opened their doors and invited me to do live events—your platform made my message possible. To every guest who trusted me with your vulnerability, your transparency, and stories you'd never shared with the world—you are the heartbeat of this podcast.
And to the ones who reached out and told me the podcast saved your marriage... Wow! To the couples who were at the brink of divorce and allowed God and therapy to heal what was broken, then came back to share your redemption with our audience—you remind me why I do this.
