Photographer & 3D Generalist - I try to teach applicable 3D visualisation that can be used for commercial use. I have a background in photography and videography, so my 3D work is highly influenced by the decisions around light, color and composition. I try to incorporate a minimalistic nordic feel in my renders, but I do enjoy learning everything related to 3D. I also try to teach a bit of motion graphics as this widens the possibilities of commercial work!

Subscribe to the channel, and learn 3D from a photographers point of view.

Hey Everyone!

I'm planning on doing a series on Youtube where I will give "LIVE" feedback on product renders from the community. I would once in a while choose a product/still render from a subscriber and give a live feedback session here on Youtube, so that everyone can see how I would approach the render. If that makes sense. Not to say that it is not good in it self, but to give my perspective on how it could be improved from texturing, to camera to lighting etc..

So what do I need from you?

* Send me a DM on my Instagram with the image that you want feedback on and a way for me to get the file, Dropbox, Wetransfer etc.

I will then choose among the submission for videos I will make here on YouTube.

Jonas

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to announce that I have created a "Discord Channel" for all of my Patreons. So if you are a paid member or consider being one - you can now also get access to an exclusive discord channel :D

* The discord is going to be a professional space for people to discuss 3D related topics, get feedback on work, share and collaborate with like-minded people :D hopefully people will learn a ton there and I will also be involved in the discussions and the feedback myself.

For those that can't afford it or don't want to - you can of course hang around here on YouTube and leave comments on the videos if you have any questions! I will do my best to also answer all of those! :D

Have a great day!

Hey Everyone! Tutorial coming up later today!

In this tutorial we are going to be looking at an "Animated (Procedural) Texture Transition Effect" made possible with Octane for Blender. All done in the shading!

and I know I have not been as active as usual, but currently working on a client project taking up most of my time. I will also make another announcement later today for something really interesting! :D see ya!

Hey everyone - I'm back from the holiday and ready to work! I have been thinking about the channel and I can see that you are interested in more Octane stuff as well as some more simulations. This will be the focus forward! Of course the main focus for the channel will and has always been product-centred motion graphics and still renders within Blender.

Moving forward I plan to push out 2 videos a week. And the next tutorial is going to be a tutorial showing you how to use "light Linking" in Octane for blender. Something that can be quite useful and not something I have seen others explain.

Coming later today!

Hey Everyone!

I'm going on a train trip through some countries here in europe for the next 8-10 days. So I won't be uploading any videos in a while. This is a holiday trip where I can reflect open where the channel shall go from here and what content I should be making in the future.

So... I would very much appreciate if you write a comment on this post - and comment what you would like to see and learn on the channel! I will be spending my time in the train to see how all of your suggestions can help shape the future of the channel for when I come back mid July. :D

If you are having a holiday break or traveling these months I hope you have an amazing summer! see ya in a couple of weeks :D

Hey Everyone! - sneak peak into the next couple of tutorials and what we are going to be learning. Still a bit of Octane still renders.

We are going to be looking into Texturing and lighting of bottles. All in blender. I created this quick fake bottle to illustrate the different things we will be looking at. Hope you like it - don't mind the bottle text, makes no sense haha

Hey Everyone - This is the final image that we are going to create in the upcoming series "Octane for Blender".

* The series will be split into different parts and the idea is to give you an understanding of how Octane works, Light set-up, materials, composition etc..

* Modelling of the watch itself is not included in the serie as this is focused on Octane as a renderer and not on the modelling of objects. I personally also think these parts are much more important as you can always get models. Furthermore the watch is a model that I got at CGtrader specifically for this project. so I don't own the asset.

Last but not least! hope you learn a few tricks and feel confident to start using Octane. This channels focus is on Blender as a viable commercial tool. And Octane is industry standard. So we need to explore.

Hey Everyone - I'm thinking about making a short serie on Octane & Blender. Like maybe a video series of 4-5 videos. Ending with a final product shot. But from the start with how to install, set-up and working with the tool in Blender. Would you be interested in this? like starting from scratch with a project and following it through?

If you have any other cool ideas on how to best educate on Octane, let me know in the comments - I just want to help as best as I can.
