Hi everyone, I have just uploaded some of my 2025 fishing review which turned out to be my Best Fishing Year on YouTube but that was down to all of you that have supported the channel and videos so Thank you very much. I had a slow start to the year but that picked up and I look forward to kicking off 2026 with plenty of fishing. I have lots in the pipeline so I hope you will be able to join me. Feel free to share any of my videos as that helps the channel.

With 2025 coming to an end I am already looking forward to a busy 2026 with some more big Perch hunting and chub sessions to fit in before my Spring sessions kick in and I have some exciting trips booked and planned already.
I would like to thank all the subscribers and viewers of the channel for making this so far the most successful year for the channel and I am hoping 2026 will bring new heights and popular films.
I have produced a little Fishing Tail Films channel trailer and I would be most grateful if you could share the little 3 minute video with your fishing friends in case they have not seen the channel before.

Fishing Tail Films

I have been enjoying my sessions of late fishing for the Perch and managing to find some specimens. The next two videos which will be available to watch on the 23rd and 30th October are both perch sessions from two different waters. So many perch videos coming up on the channel over the coming weeks with a couple of roach, chub and grayling videos planned. I feel a new Perch PB coming this winter so fingers crossed.

If you are New to this channel then I am sure you will have not seen many of the older videos I have produced. 3 to 4 years ago I produced a little series called Sound Bites, a play on the words music and fishing. In this episode I reflect on my fishing and mental health. Uploaded back in 2022. There are other episodes in the series with many of your favourite species featured.

Last week I filmed a river session down the river on my birthday which will be live on the channel this coming Thursday. I caught some Perch, nothing huge, but it got my appetite to start fishing for the Perch earlier than I normally do. The weather cooling has convinced me to start early so tomorrow I am off to a venue I have not fished before that contains perch over the 3lbs mark. Let’s hope my prawns and lobs hookbaits find the target.
I will film of course 🎣 The tackle is poised with my Darent Valleys and Shimano Stradics back out on duty

Hi everyone, I hope this post reaches you as I am not sure my recent posts and videos are being seen? I am also subscribed to my own channel and I rarely get a notification about a Post or Video upload, maybe YouTube are giving up on small channels. I really don't know!
Anyway I am running a Poll for some feedback about the up and coming weeks for the channel about Q. What sort of fish species videos are you most looking forward to watching this coming Autumn and Winter on the Fishing Tail Films channel.

Hi everyone, hope you are keeping well and catching a few. Just an update that the next fishing video will be live on the channel this coming Friday afternoon where I fished a lovely little lake for the very first time.
It is my birthday tomorrow and I shall be making another river video and believe it or not it will be the first time I have fished on my birthday so hoping the fish will oblige to my hemp and tares approach, we shall see.
