Hello, my name is Chuck Gregory and I am model railroader and realtor in Pennsylvania. In my previous life I ran a DCC install business so I could take care of my first wife who had Huntingtons disease. Anyway, one my customers hired me to install DCC in a ton of engines and do his system to a HO scale 65 foot by 32 foot 4 track mainline. He passed away last year and I have been hired by his children to sell house and railroad with the wishes to keep the railroad with the house. I am having trouble finding the best place to advirtise and wondered if you could help me.

Quick DJSTRAINS update!
Right now, I’m focused on getting everything ready for the N Scale Weekend in Altoona. I’ve been spending a lot of time building new scenes and getting everything ready for the show.
Because of that, YouTube videos are taking a short break — but I’ll be back making NEW videos in late September!

Sad news to share.
My friend Susie Gaglia, who was one of the first women engineers, has passed away at age 72. She and I were friends for years and I was honored to help encourage her to write her book, and introduce her through a video of her induction in the railroad hall of fame. Please watch the video if you haven't seen it already. I'm sad because she's gone but so glad that God put her in my life, and I'll see her again one day.

Most model railroads show coal trains…
…but do you know where the coal actually comes from before it reaches the power plant?
In Part 2 of this series, we go to a real river transfer facility and follow coal moving from barge → stockpile → conveyor → railcars — including the giant crane locals call the “Big Blue Monster.”
