The problem with fear, is that we're taught to overcome it.


We're not taught to see that fear is helping us.



If you have a fear of something happening, it's because you have a memory of it taking place in the past.



Let's look at that idea again: You don't fear what is unknown. You picture a scene, like a movie, in your mind and that triggers the fear. You're imagining something happening.



Where does that scene, or imaginary movie come from? Your memories of either your experiences, or the experiences of others. Something you read. Something you were told.



What you really need to do when you feel fear?



Work backwards, find where that memory scene comes from and then work on what still hurts from that.
