Living abroad has been an incredible journey, but being able to live abroad and return to the US to spend quality time with friends and family when I want, has truly been a gift.

My month in San Francisco has come to an end. It has been a blast and just the fact that I can live like this reminds me of how far I've come since I first moved abroad. Back then, I could never have imagined the freedom and lifestyle I now enjoy.


I'm so grateful that I took that leap of faith at 35 and really embraced imperfect action 🙏🏼. A move abroad comes with hard decisions, compromises, and sometimes giving up something good to gain something greater. It’s just a part of the journey.


Could I have waited for more perfect conditions to move abroad? Absolutely! But by waiting I might have kept myself from creating this life in the first place. By waiting, I might have never left.


I know lots of you who are reading this have been dreaming about moving abroad for DECADES. How much longer are you willing to wait?


As some point you just have decide that you are READY. You've done enough research, planning, savings, and problem solving to make this work and you're capable enough and have plenty of life experience to tackle any obstacles that arises. You've got this!

Never allow FEAR (of failure, of the unknown, of not getting it “right”, of change, of judgment from others, of taking the path less traveled, of putting yourself out there, of taking a risk, of trying something new) to rule your life..

Live your dreams and take risks! Life doesn’t last forever. Life is happening NOW ✌🏻
