Judging by the tests in games, it seems to be “better than before.” However, it will apparently only be available on NVIDIA’s 50-series GPUs, even though a leaked .dll file already exists that allows DLSS 5 to run on 40-series GPUs without any problems.
Do you think NVIDIA will add support for DLSS 5 on the 40 series, or will they be as greedy as possible?
Good news! A non-VR demo of Half-Life: Alyx is coming soon. I understand that the game was designed to be played in VR, but not everyone has the opportunity to buy a VR headset. By the way, VR headsets are much more affordable now than they were when the game first launched.
Guys, I’ve been reading your comments asking, “When are the new videos coming?” or saying, “The views have dropped,” and so on.
The views really have dropped because I haven’t uploaded any new videos in a long time. The main reason is that, in order to produce videos faster and upload them more consistently, I needed to set up a proper workspace. And to do that, I had to start renovating my apartment.
The workspace is almost finished—I just need to order the desktop for my desk. Once that’s done, I’ll be able to upload videos more often and stick to a regular schedule.
So I decided to play some Fortnite just now and record a video of my gameplay for fun, and guess what — my new NVIDIA overlay isn't working. And I've already reinstalled both the drivers and the NVIDIA app! Not only did they change the interface to that Windows 11 style, you know, where there's no design at all, just black-and-white icons and text, but on top of that it doesn't even work properly! On my GTX 1080, with the old overlay, I never had issues like this, even when recording 4K gameplay. It honestly feels like everything is degrading — first Windows 11, and now the NVIDIA overlay. Someone let me know when we're back to an era where things actually improve instead of getting worse!
Doom 3 is one of the greatest horror games ever made, with an incredible atmosphere. Its ambient soundtracks often last anywhere from 10 to 35 minutes. Here’s one of them from the very first level of the game:
As you explore the level while listening to this ambient track, it creates the feeling that you’re incredibly far away from Earth, standing on the edge of something completely unknown and beyond human reach. And that unknown eventually reveals itself as the invasion of demons—pure evil.
I’ll make a dedicated video review of the game, but first I’m going to record a full playthrough.
Next week, I’ll finally be setting up a proper workspace.
Why does this matter? As you may have noticed from my older videos, I’ve been filming in my apartment under very rough conditions, without any renovation. Despite that, I’ve managed to create more than 300 videos for the channel.
During the summer, it was so hot that I sometimes had to take up to 11 showers a day because I didn’t have proper windows or air conditioning. It was nothing short of a nightmare.
Eventually, I decided I’d had enough and started renovating the apartment. I first designed everything in Homestyler and then began bringing the project to life.
Now, about half of the renovation is complete. I finally have air conditioning and proper windows, and most importantly, it’s time to optimize my workspace.
To produce high-quality content efficiently, I need good lighting and a large desk. Tomorrow I’ll be ordering custom countertops and arranging them as shown in the photo. This setup will allow me to produce videos much faster.
The lack of a proper workspace has been the main reason why there hasn’t been much new content on the channel lately.
The content is coming back. There will be a lot more videos very soon.
A line appeared on my second monitor, but only for a short time—about five minutes. I took a screenshot and opened it to make sure it wasn’t caused by the graphics card. It’s probably either the HDMI cable or, more likely, the monitor itself starting to fail.
Today I finished Dark Messiah Might and Magic from 2006. And here’s how it happened: back then, my PC couldn’t run it, so I never got the chance to play it. Recently, I decided to try it on a modern PC, and I got so hooked that I ended up completing the entire game.
My point is that the game is so good (it’s built on the Source engine) that it’s still incredibly engaging even today in 2026, after all these years. If you haven’t played it yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. The Source engine in a fantasy game creates an amazing and unique experience.
