The madness continues. Now HP laptops can be obtained via a subscription for a fixed monthly fee :D. What’s more, they’ve even added accessories to the subscription—like a USB-C hub, for example, for $4 a month 🤦♂️. Someone please tell me I’m asleep and this is all just a bad dream.
AMD with the AM5 socket have finally started putting the pins on the motherboard, not on the processor. Why are pins on the processor a bad thing? The first reason is shown in the photo. The second reason is that it’s much easier to damage pins on the processor than on the socket.
Friends, Good News. Tomorrow a new episode of installing Windows on a modern PC will be released. This time it’s Windows 2000. What do you think—will it run or not?
This is one of the top CRT monitors of the 2000s. Back then it cost around $2K, and now it’s closer to $3K. It’s funny how high-end components were expensive at that time and, as a teenager, I couldn’t afford them—and now, when I’m an adult, they’re still expensive, even more so than they were back then, despite being old and no longer relevant.
The engineer cat is helping with installing Windows again. No jokes — every time I start installing or assembling something, he walks over and gets curious about what I’m doing :D
What do you think about the idea, given the rising prices of RAM, of pulling out an old PC with a 3770K and 16 GB of DDR3 and sticking an RTX 4070 into it?

Looks like the chip on my NVIDIA 6800 GS might have come off 😄 The temperature was 84 degrees. Well, that’ll be content for the next video 🙂
