Last year we had a record number of mosquitos in France and we all had legs that reminded us of dot to dot books. This year the government has a new idea, please read below and let me know your thoughts. Will this work or will it destroy another factor in our eco system.

French jardiniere, stunning piece of antique pottery handmade in the mid to late 1800s. Very rare and a lucky find never seen this before let alone owned one. The repair to the base is an ancient Chinese craft called "juci" it means using metal staples to pin together broken pieces of precious porcelain. The imperfections are seen as part of its history so are celebrated rather than hidden. Because of the amount of work and skill involved, you generally only find this kind of repair on family heirlooms or expensive, high quality items that would be difficult / impossible to replace.
