Fans of Leslie Fish may remember Phoenyx — fronted by Heather Alexander — a magical Celtic Fusion band from 1989-1992.

They released one critically acclaimed album, featuring mythic and fantasy stories. And true to their name, the band vanished thereafter in flames.

After 30+ years of this album being unavailable (unless you had $500+ on eBay), we're pleased to share that you can now find this project in streaming and in a new CD print run!

The Firebird edition of Leslie's classic "Cold Iron" album has shown up on a filk preservation channel.

There were, as Mary Creasey recounts, 3 cassette editions of Cold Iron. This is the third, and final, cassette edition. It sounds... different from the others.
