STAYC members talk about the common no phones rule in the kpop industry:

"To all agency officials out there trainees need to have their phones. If you're going to be a celebrity you need to understand current trends more than anyone else and in today's world, that's impossible without a phone. Whether it's fashion or trends, or music or whatever it is.

If we had our phones back then our skills would be way better than now. We had to share one screen to monitor. We all had different parts we wanted to rewatch so I had to wait for six turns just to see my part.

I understand the company's concerns. But those things won't happen, because at the broadcasting station, we're insanely busy. Nothing happens at all. Please stop having those weird thoughts. If something's meant to happen, it'll happen with or without a phone."

‎My controversial K-pop take is that K-pop fans are fxxking hypocrites.
‎You guys do not care that an idol is racist or Zionist, you only care when you want to use it to defend your faves. A lot of K-pop fans are so racist to black people, I just smile everytime I see y'all being performative trying to "call out" an idol for being racist just because you don't like them. I still remember very vividly that time Lesserafim merch photos dropped and they used a black model. I was just getting into kpop then and safe to say I was crushed. Kpop fans were so racist talking about how they were "scared" at first because they thought that she was joining the group and even if she wasn't joining lesserafim a black person shouldn't be modeling for a kpop group and blah blah blah. I was so disappointed and I wondered if y'all feel the same about black fans.
‎If y'all actually cared about racism, you would call out every idols that has done racist sh*t instead of picking and choosing just because it's an idol you don't like or just shut up about it.
‎You guys claim to care about people affected by the war but even then you only bring it up for fan wars. Like No you can't call out an idol for endorsing CocaCola while defending your idols that became an ambassador for a luxury brand that is on the same list because "they are not the same", that is called hypocrisy.
‎I don't even want to go into how sex*st and misogynistic y'all are. Wonhee, Ahyeon, Wonyoung, Karina, Winter, Giselle, Jennie get 🍇 and death threats and get called "pick mes" for existing but y'all forget in just a week a male idol wearing a literal confederate flag and even admitting he knew about and still wore it anyways, and please don't give that "it's only gg stans" bs.
It physically hurts me everytime I read what y'all write about these girls daily especially Jennie, these women are just trying to exist and you write disgusting stuff about them and make disgusting edits of them just because you don't like them and give a stupid excuse like "she didn't greet a staff". Does not greeting a staff warrant an "I hope she khs" or an "I hope she d*es"?
You guys don't even care about their staffs, when something happens that an idol should take responsibility for you immediately blame it on the staff and the company but when you want to be hypocrites you suddenly care about staff.
‎You guys don't get to pick and choose who to "criticize" while supporting and defending people that have done worse things.

And yes, I know not every K-pop fan is like this, but there's only a little (very little) percentage of kpop fans that are not hypocrites.
