During my teaching journey, I realized that the content printed in Punjabi textbooks has not changed for almost two decades. The basic principles of the language have not changed but there have been practical and natural changes in some of its literary forms from time to time. They have certainly come In this era of linguistic development and technology, it is very important to incorporate new objectives and new subject matter while creating Punjabi textbooks. As time went by Punjab's rich heritage, biographies of Guru Sahibs and stories of warriors of Punjab first NCERT. started disappearing from the books of other subjects and now it has gradually started affecting Punjabi text books as well
