HELLO THERE
We have been narrowboating for many years and it is in our DNA.
For good measure we are pretty knowledgeable and practically minded which makes narrowboating that bit easier.
We know a bit about narrowboats, canals, villages and the boating community in general & hope our stories will be full of interest and humour.
Cruising the canals and making our videos is a hobby for us both which we totally enjoy.

CUTTING BACK ... Getting the balance right is difficult but with a bit more thought it is possible. If a boat can moor up safely then the ground where you jump off needs to be safe. Similar around locks and picnic areas. No problem leaving all the hedges and plant life a bit wilder away from the edges. Suspect this would upset the cyclists and walkers who get everything for free. No need to strip everything back, that is overkill but suspect it is the cheaper option
