That really...left me sick... Outside of the soundtrack and visuals I struggle to find what people actually enjoy about this film especially how it is the third in a trilogy that just straight up ignores the second film.
I've been a TRON fan since Legacy which made me a go and watch the OG film which despite its aged graphics I still enjoyed, Ram was such a bro, RIP.
The father and son passing of the torch energy of the first two films feels natural and genuine, and sam going from a reluctant hero to someone who's taking agency over his life and motivated to protect his father's legacy (pun not intended) was so well done.
But that's what brings me to a problem I had with this film that honestly is less of the film's fault and more my own. Seeing this movie taught me something about myself. I'm not a Tron fan, im a Sam Flynn fan. Sam Flynn was my Luke Skywalker, his character and story hit me so hard that almost 20 years later I still quote him. I hated this film solely because my hero was cut out for a lead I honestly felt nothing for.
Even Kevin's 80s hippie rebel vibe from the first film kept me enjoyed, but in this...ares and eve don't leave me interested in the slightest.
I'm glad some fans love it but like the Terminator franchise, I think this should've stopped after two films.
Fun fact I color all of my pages before turning down the saturation so that they can be in black and white for the manga.
I've gotten told before that this is why I take so long to release pages and I should stop by in my opinion when I do this it assures that the shades are always correct. Sometimes it's hard to get consistent shades when doing a marker because the shades are either black white or variations of gray it's sometimes hard to remember if this or that character is supposed to be gray-gray or grayish gray. So the shading is always consistent and it gives it a more detailed appearance in my opinion.

It's a dark parody of your typical isekai story. It starts with the isekai'd hero killing the Demon King and the Demon King is the one who gets reincarnated nearly 20 years after his death to a world where his name has been forgotten and the hero's is renowned.
The story follows him as he gains knowledge of the new world he is in, adjusts and blends into human society, all with the goal of facing off against the hero and taking his revenge.
Damn. The more days go on, the more it feels like I'm the only one who thought the season 2 finale was good.
Did it end on a bang? No. But it wrapped up the main story arc of the season which was Chris learning to love himself and become the hero that everyone knows he can be. Ads ended her marriage. Bordeaux finally quit. Harcourt finally started opening up. Economos grew a pair. Rip and Fluery joined the good guys. I don't know how anyone could have watched the finale and not feel satisfied. Even peacemaker getting sent to salvation setting up the Salvation Run story arc. This finale was a treat. 10/10.
