This channel is dedicated to projects both big and small, from free flight to general aviation. YouTube challenged me to describe the purpose of the channel in five words, and I realized I could! This channel aims to Inspire, Educate and Entertain via Flight (oh wait that's six words). All ages welcome :).
With every project I hope not only to increase the knowledge, abilities and inspiration of the viewer, but of my own.

I don't think the person who sold this car to the dealer realized the value of this car. I don't think the dealer who sold me this car realized the value of this car. I don't think I realized the value of this car (I was willing to walk away over a $500 disagreement in price). It has been a long time dream car. Having inspected it, slung some corners in it, received untold 'bro' nods and some genuine "don't touch a thing on that car" interactions I'm torn. AFAIK, no modifications have ever been done to it. Philosophically, for me, things NEED to just be things and despite my feelings I need to treat 'things' as such, otherwise (and this may sound too strong) my reality becomes warped and starts not making sense. I'm the antithesis of a collector. This is my dream car, and despite some mileage, it is fairly pristine.
What is the problem? My dedication to things being 'things' is running into me genuinely wondering if a thing should remain 'as is' and not serve a purpose beyond itself. To 'prove and aerodynamic point' or 'make money' or 'build a brand' etc. I had so many plans for this car. I could (with a LOT of effort) turn this into an aerodynamic (and effective) first, give it ridiculous amounts of power, perhaps pull in some great sponsorships and do some amazing collaborations. With these things, you never know what will become of 'your best', I'm finding that out every day (probably worth a whole other post). But gawddammit, I'm second guessing myself and not wanting to do a thing to it. Humbly accepting advice as to how to proceed. It is just a thing. But..... why does it feel like more? I'm open to suggestion, this is anything but a rhetorical post looking for affirmation one direction or the other. If you have a moment, I ask for your genuine thoughts and musings on how to proceed.

First molded Flik Wing flight today. Very, very pleased. Got it trimmed, dialed in the CG, then neglected doing anything else productive with it as I couldn't stop blasting around the sky. A few changes will require another batch of samples, one of course molding with white EPP. Not really any technical data today as revisions to the airframe will affect any numbers we get. But, great progress.

This doesn't happen every day.... but when it does it needs to be pointed out. Thanks to cal-tool.com/ for donating a not insignificant amount of helium for an upcoming project. The owner appears to love aviation as much as I do, and when helium is the right tool to make something go.... You'll meet them and see their operation in the upcoming video, in the meantime I would be grateful if you checked them out for any tooling and welding needs in the SoCal area.

Serious upgrades completed including closing the gap in the wings, covering the fuselage, upgrading to a lubricated competition rubber motor and a spindle that can take the power instead of the weak 3D printed hook. How long will it fly for? 45 seconds would blow my mind....

Getting a Patreon page going with the release of this latest video (I do think its my best so far, I have been learning so much about storytelling, which I generally suck at).
