As Osmosphere, Swiss songwriter & musician Olivier Schmid, produces electronic pop music. His music sounds organic, warm, slightly atmospheric and often contains piano elements. Olivier discovered his love for music at an early age and he began to take piano lessons (Classical, Jazz, Pop). He was always fascinated by the synthetic and warm sounds produced by Jean-Michel Jarre and Depeche Mode and became interested in Synthesizer. Olivier began producing his own music in his youth. He played keyboard / synths and was background singer in different bands (Pop, Funk, Rock).
The song Don't Look Back was the first song with own vocals.
His latest song Wie ein Astronaut was a co production with his 9 year old daughter with German lyrics.
His latest song Noisy Dream is an instrumental track about a dream beginning calm and then turning to restless / shrill - running through different scenes.

This is my second song in "organic house" style with oriental touch (phrygian dominant scale). While producing I thought of a long journey. I used my own samples like singing bowl and rain pipe. All piano and synth parts were recorded live by me (solo on Ableton Push console). Thanks for listening!
