Hey bestie! My name is Lainey and I have 5 amazing horses as y'all can see Cooper is my baby and heart horse. I show him in SEMSCA horse shows and belong to the Sunset Saddle Club in Albert Lea MN. I have 4 other horses Docotah is my first horse and Is my first heart horse (RIP 1/13/25). Cricket is my Appaloosa. I have Concho he is my other paint. And then my little sister's pony. Charlie, there's not a lot of videos on him, but he is still one of the main stars of this channel. He is the little POA that you see in almost every video that is either doing ribbon race with us or just being the little bossy pony he is. My sister also got another horse this year (2025) Chester he is a palomino Quarter horse. My favorite thing to do is hang with my horse friends at shows and at each other's house with our horses doing the dumbest stuff!

This is the hardest thing I will ever have to write, I got to see my BSF @twochainzzz and I told my dad "Nothing could make today terrible." And my God was I wrong. At 11:00 last night I had to say good bye to my Heart Horse, that was the hardest thing to do.
Dacotah and I had an unbreakable bond he was treated terribly, and picked me as his person at a young age and I fell in love with this man. I went out for chores last night and he was heaving and not putting any weight on his left hind leg and his stiffel was the size of a football. We got my parents and even before the diagnosis was made I knew he broke his leg. I sobbed off and on letting myself comprehend what was inevitablely the end result for him. We called my riding mentor and she came over and said she thought it was a break, I put his Stitch halter on for the second and last time from @hotheadstalls and I sat in the barn with him trying to keep him on his three feet for 45 minutes until the vet came.
When she arrived she looked at it and said "yep it's broken.." she stood up and looked at me and said "This horse needs to be put down." At this moment my head felt numb and I turned to him and he looked at me, with his ears up and looked into my eyes and told me he was ready. We talked about the options I had for him and we decided to put him to rest with the shots (the vet gives). We couldn't get him to the door so I couldn't watch him go down and get drug out of the barn so I left and called my best friends. He is in a better place now and I will have his name and tail hair with me forever, but this it not something I thought would happen for years.
I was/am not ready to say good bye to my boy. He was only 17 and we had this year planned out to get him healthy and showing. I still can't believe this happened, I hope he is living great up there watching me. The best blessing I had was owning this horse, he made everything better when I was with him. We went to Albert Lea for a closed show he did really good I'm so proud of him! But we have to buy a new saddle for him which we already did so now he has three Saddles and we have to ride in a bit again๐
