The SANY Story Episode 07: A Sky-High Challenge - Back in 2002, the Hong Kong International Financial Center was on the verge of topping out at a staggering 406 meters – the tallest building globally at the time.

SANY, then an eight-year-old player in the concrete machinery scene, set its sights on this colossal project with confidence. The company made a bold move, proposing a "bet" to the contractor – SANY concrete pumps would take on the topping-out challenge, at a promise of sweetening the deal by offering double backup – four extra machines, and free of charge globally for the contractor if things went south.

Fast forward to September 21, 2002, and there it was – the Hong Kong International Financial Center proudly crowned. SANY Pump had not just succeeded; it set a world record for a 406-meter single-pump vertical pumping, marking a historic win for a Chinese company.

From then on, SANY didn't stop. Whether it was the Burj Khalifa (828m) in Dubai, the Shanghai Tower (632m), or the iconic Canton Tower(600m), we challenged heights and broke records worldwide. The Shanghai skyline itself tells part of this story – the 492m Shanghai World Financial Center, pumped by SANY, and the 420.5m Jin Mao Tower, pumped by Putzmeister, now stand tall together as symbols of SANY's global concrete dominance. #SANY#Putzmeister#ConcretePump#IFC#burjkhalifa

The SANY Story Episode 06: The Pump Hero: Homecoming - Have you explored our exhibition hall? There stands a remarkable 24-year-old pump truck that served in northwest China for 11 years, covering 800,000 kilometres and pumping 600,000 cubic meters of concrete. Now, it's back in its hometown, Changsha. What sets it apart? It's China's first 37-meter long-boom pump truck with independent intellectual property rights – the proud creation named SANY.

In the '90s, constructing tall buildings was a challenge, requiring a crucial tool: a pump truck with a boom length of over 30 meters. Chief Engineer Yi Xiaogang's visionary decision in 1998 made SANY's first pump truck a real trailblazer. #SANY

The SANY Story Episode 05: Valve Vanguard - In 1994, SANY ventured into the construction machinery industry with China's first open-type concrete trailer pump. Yet, frequent malfunctions stemmed from a foreign-controlled collector valve assembly with technological barriers. Chief Engineer Yi Xiaogang, a tech enthusiast, and Liang Wengen's crucial ally, proposed a solution: independent design and assembly using standard parts. Despite limited computing resources, Yi cracked the nuts after months of endeavour and crafted SANY's first patented technology.

This breakthrough propelled SANY's success in concrete pump development. By late 1995, the 60A concrete trailer pump, featuring the proprietary collector valve assembly, marked a milestone in entering the industry. The subsequent years saw the company's dominance in concrete pumping, with innovations like high-pressure trailer pumps and long-reach pump trucks. 话题标签#SANY
