BIG news for the sim racing industry 👀

CORSAIR has acquired the assets of Trak Racer, bringing its cockpits, seats, monitor stands, motion systems and accessories into the wider Fanatec ecosystem.

For existing Fanatec and Trak Racer customers, nothing changes for now - current products, pricing, warranties and support remain in place. Trak Racer will continue as its own brand under the Fanatec umbrella, while the companies explore integrated bundles and a more complete simulation ecosystem in the future.

This new Fanatec release actually looks very interesting.

The CORSAIR XENEON EDGE + Mounting Bracket Bundle is a neat way to add a proper touchscreen dashboard or virtual button box to your rig without making the cockpit look messy.

Definitely one of the cleaner dashboard solutions I’ve seen for sim racing setups.

AC EVO almost turned my RTX 5090 into a toaster… 😅

Mid race, full send lap in Assetto Corsa EVO and suddenly the whole PC hard crashed with black screens on all monitors.

Checked the rig and found this: a half-melted 12VHPWR adapter from the MSI bundle. 🔥

New dedicated 12VHPWR cable from be quiet! is arriving on Monday, so fingers crossed it was “just” the cable and not the GPU itself 🤞

Little PSA: always double check your GPU power cables, no crazy bends near the connector and avoid sketchy adapters when you are pushing modern cards this hard.

If you’re building a proper GT3-style wheel, this one looks like a solid option:

- 318 mm diameter GT3 rim
- CNC-machined black anodized aluminum
- Overmolded rubber grips (BMW M4 GT3-style feel)
- Reinforcement bracket to mount and reposition the ClubSport Universal Hub button clusters for better ergonomics
- Includes printable sticker sheets for custom faceplates
