After 3 years of solo hiking and exploring the world from the ground, I’ve decided to take things to a whole new level—literally! I’ve been learning to paraglide, and I just hit a massive milestone: My First XC Flight.

For my hiking friends who might not know the lingo: XC (Cross Country) is basically the paragliding version of a long-distance thru-hike. Instead of staying near the takeoff hill, you use thermals (rising warm air) to travel miles away across the landscape, navigating the sky just like we navigate a trail.

It’s the ultimate solo adventure!

Just got back from an unforgettable hike in Valais! 🏔️ The views were absolutely breathtaking, and I got to visit the Grand Dixence Dam—this massive engineering marvel is truly incredible up close. Walking around it makes you realize just how tiny we are compared to the mountains! 😲
The trail was full of stunning scenery, peaceful streams, and vibrant mountain landscapes. And yes… I had to sprint at the very end to catch the last bus 😅💨.
