Its been a lot of work constructing and optimizing this circuit for my next big project. Good news is, this is pretty much the completed prototype and now I am slworking on laying out a new PCB for it! Once I get the new PCB in and assembled, I should be fairly close to releasing a new project video!
Been so long since I've really had the excuse to properly breadboard anything. It can be very fun and therapeutic! Below is a simple oscillator and exponential converter setup that I am prototyping in preparation for an upcoming experimental project. 😀
I got several requests to release the source material for the MIDI control voard I designed for my DIY synth. In hindsight, this is something I should have done when I released my video. However, I am currently working on prototyping a fix for a minor issue with the MIDI board's mod control function, and will feel more comfortable calling it a final product when this fixed. Once I am done with this, I will be open sourcing the whole design and releasing the schematics, source code, gerber files, etc! For those interested, please sit tight as I work on this. Hopefully it will be done in the coming weeks.
