Qays ibn Saʿd ibn ʿUbādah was one of the most remarkable supporters of Imam Ali (A.S.). A brilliant strategist, courageous commander and influential Ansari, he served as governor of Egypt under Imam Ali (A.S.) and stood beside him during the major conflicts of his caliphate.

After the martyrdom of Imam Ali (A.S.), Qays remained loyal to Imam Hasan (A.S.) and continued to play an important role during one of the most difficult periods in early Islamic history.

His story is not simply about politics or battles. It is about conviction, loyalty and the courage to choose your own path.

His father, Saʿd ibn ʿUbādah, was one of the leading figures of the Ansar and took a different political position after the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ passed away.
