I had the absolute pleasure of guest hosting "What's Newark Got to Do With It?" recently with the artist Dominant Dansby. 🎨 (Check out our episode cover below!)

We dove deep into the "alchemy" of his creative process—from the focus he first found playing with Legos as a kid to creating abstract collages that feel like jazz in physical form. One of my favorite takeaways? Dominant views production as a "muscle" and is constantly pushing to capture the 70% of ideas still in his head.

His work will be at the Outsider Art Fair in NYC later this month, and I can’t wait for you all to see the "legacy" he’s building.
